Below is a list of the events and celebrations occurring as part of National Eucalypt Day. We thank our partners for their support! Events are constantly loaded through February and March, so please keep checking back.

Searching for events for a past year?  Set the start date as the 1st of January of the year you are searching; the list will contain 25 records and then go to the bottom of the page and press next.

20 March 2024:  We have been having some challenges with the search functionality in the calendar and are working to resolve the issue.  In the meantime please find attached a list here for the events running until the end of May.  It will download as a word document which contains links back to the Eucalypt Australia website and the direct booking links for activities.

National Eucalypt Day Celebrations at the Lithgow & District Community Nursery 23 March (NSW)

Cross-Generational Open Day at the Lithgow and District Community Nursery!

Saturday 23rd of March 2024 from 10am to 3pm

2A Coalbrook St. Lithgow NSW

Numerous Community Organisations will be on hand to share their eucalypt stories  –  Landcare, Native Bees with Megan Halcroft, Bonsai with Tree Makers design.  The Lions are set to put on lunch.

Come and join some fun eucalypt-inspired activities:

  •   Gum Leaf Whistling Competiton
  •   Dying materials with eucalypt leaf
  •   Make your own plaque with Eucalypt leaves, branches, gum nuts
  •   Colouring in for the kids
  •   Nature Journalling
  •   Tours of the nursery and the vast array of local Eucalypt plants we grow
  •   Paintng a mural (on canvas) to commemorate the day
  •   Life cycle of the eucalypt tree, from small beginnings to big trees
  •   Plant giveaways
  •  Didgeridoo with the legendary Charlie McMahon.
