20 March 2024: We have been having some challenges with the search functionality in the calendar and are working to resolve the issue. In the meantime please find attached a list here for the events running until the end of May. FreeNational Eucalypt Day Walk
About 840 species and subspecies of eucalypt grow in Australia and have adapted to an amazing number of diverse habitats and climates, such as deserts, snowy mountains, coasts, rainforest edges, monsoonal areas and many places in between. Unsurprisingly, their leaves, buds, flowers fruits,bark and height vary enormously, from 2m high shrubs to towering forest giants of 100m.
Celebrate National Eucalypt Day by delving into the world of these astonishing trees, synonymous with Australian flora. Join a free guided tour and explore the ever-increasing eucalypt diversity in our plant collections. Hear fascinating stories about rare, heritage listed and diverse eucalypts from all over Australia.
