A Home Among The Gum Trees Guided Walk – Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Gardens (Qld)
March 23 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
$5
How are you celebrating National Eucalypt Day? Join us for a guided walk amongst the gum trees of the Maroochy Bushland Botanic Gardens.
National Eucalypt Day is held every year on 23 March. It is a day to celebrate and honour the significance of eucalypt trees – to the bush and to us – and fall even further in love with these iconic species.
Join us for a relaxing and informative walk amongst the eucalypts of the Lagoon Walk and Koala Discovery Trail. Learn some tips on how to identify different eucalypt species; especially the ones that koalas prefer to eat. Keep your eyes peeled – you may even spot a resident koala sleeping up high!
This walk is suitable for adults and includes walking on both paved and gravel surfaces in the natural bush setting of the Botanic Gardens. Please dress for a walk outdoors.
Meet at the entrance to the Arts & Ecology Centre, Maroochy Bushland Botanic Gardens, Tanawha.
