Experience the healing qualities of nature – professional development for teachers (VIC)

4 May 2023 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Free

The Gould League will run a professional development day for teachers to support them as they assist children who are concerned with climate change and associated extinctions, extreme climatic events, and dwindling natural resources.  The day will assist teachers to address the plight of the environment in a way that reduces student anxiety and inspires students.

Building on previous successful programs, this event will be held in Toolangi State Forest and will feature a number of talks and a 90 minute walk so participants can experience the magnificence and healing qualities of nature, see ecosystem services in action and engage with the beautiful Mountain Ash.
