20 March 2024: We have been having some challenges with the search functionality in the calendar and are working to resolve the issue. Jewellery Making Workshop with Silversmith Karen Harvey with Euc Talk by Chris Cobern (Vic)

$150In celebration of National Eucalypt Day 23rd March 2022, Eucalypt Australia is proud to support a special presentation by Chris Cobern of the Upper Goulburn Landcare Network followed by a jewellery making workshop with silversmith Karen Harvey at MiRa, 11 Murchison Street, Marysville
9.00am in the Gallery at Marysville Information and Regional Artspace
Join UGLN’s Chris Cobern for a discussion about the impact of the 2009 bushfires on local Eucalypt species and the changes he has observed in the forests as the landscape recovers. Please join us for a cuppa and chat afterwards.

Following the presentation, a special jewellery making workshop will commence with silversmith Karen Harvey using the leaves of Eucalyptus pauciflora or Snow Gum as a template in making sterling silver earrings or a pendant.
Cost: $150pp – includes materials. No experience required. Limited spaces. Bookings are essential.
