National Eucalypt Day Walk
Celebrate National Eucalypt Day by delving into the world of these astonishing trees, synonymous with Australian flora. Join a guided tour at Melbourne or Cranbourne Gardens and explore the ever-increasing eucalypt diversity in our plant collections. At Cranbourne Gardens, hear stories of a plant collection expedition that took the team across Victoria from Russell Larke, Team Leader of Horticulture and learn about the incredible diversity and value of these species. At Melbourne Gardens, discover some of the survival tactics that have enabled eucalypts to thrive in a variety of habitats and meet some of our oldest eucalypts, still standing tall at more than 200 years of age.
Proudly supported by Eucalypt Australia.
