Sketching the River Red Gum in Bundoora Homestead Park (VIC)

March 15 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join members of the Darebin U3A Outdoor Sketching Group to sketch an old River Red Gum at Bundoora Homestead Park. Located in the Bundoora Parklands adjacent to the historic Bundoora Homestead, the tree is a remnant of the original vegetation of the Bundoora area.

The group will sketch many of the aspects of the rugged tree – the overall tree as well as details of its bark, branches and foliages. Resultant images will be put together to help document, in artistic form, the significance of the tree and its companions across the parklands.

Any sketchers are welcome to join.
