Understanding and Celebrating Eucalypts

This project supported ten NSW school communities in the Corowa District Landcare area to understand the importance of eucalypt trees locally and nationally. Students visited the Wirraminna Environmental Education Centre and went on field trips to see 13 trees of historical, social and cultural significance.  The book ‘Connecting with Culture and Nature’ is a reflection of the children’s learnings.
