Discovery walk at Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens (Qld)
20 March 2022 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
FreeCelebrate National Eucalypt Day on a discovery walk at Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens.
Starting at the stately veteran Blackbutt and Qld Blue Gum, home to an array of wildlife, and through the planted Gum Tree Corridor of hundreds of gums from over 40 regional species. Stop and learn about our threatened Eucalypt species including one now, sadly, considered gone forever on the Gold Coast. View special forms including regional Mallees, and an experimental grove of Ghost Gums which we are growing to measure their adaptation to our climate.
Starts at 10 am at the guided Walk Sign just below the Friends Centre and coffee kiosk.
Bookings not necessary. Children welcome.
